My name (as you can see) is Ward Motes. I was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and lived my younger life in the suburbs called Tiftonia; just shy of the Georgia border. It was while living on Kelly's Ferry Road that I met a young man who introduced me to ROYAL AMBASSADORS and through that, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and actual Worship services at LOOKOUT VALLEY BAPTIST CHURCH to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
After moving to a small town north of there, Spring City, Tennessee, I was introduced to CARSON NEWMAN COLLEGE where I attended for four years and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion.
Once I graduated, one of the main plans to use my education was in the field of writing. The other part of that has been in volunteer work as a Sunday School teacher, Awana Director and a Deacon for several churches.
I am currently a Deacon at TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH in Morris, Oklahoma, where God is doing a great and mighty work.
I have, unfortunately, taken my time getting to this point. But I have a myriad of stories to write. I also look forward to doing commentaries and more biblical fiction in the near future. This story has been the focus of my creative energies for over a decade. It is a calling; a story that I could not ignore. God made sure of that. It must be published. But it is the first of many...
